Year 2

Welcome to the Home Learning Page for Year 2.  Most online learning will be set via SeeSaw and platforms which your children will have logins for such as Purplemash and spelling shed. Please refer to the weekly timetables provided to guide you through our homelearning tasks in order to ensure your child keeps upto date with their learning at home. The majority of your homelearning tasks will be added to SeeSaw and assigned to your child in the instance of their absense. 

Do keep checking SeeSaw as we will also be uploading examples of good work throughout the year to celebrate your childs achievements in you, in light that we cannot invite you in to look at the books.

We would like to see Year 2 access Mathletics so we can celebrate your acheivements by sharing the certificates you can gain for participation. It is important that you keep your mental maths skills sharp for when we do return to school. 

New tasks will be added to Spelling Shed which will follow our learning in class so be sure to check on there for spellings and activities.

Spring Term

We are all so sorry that Spring term started with Home Learning again! Hopefully it will not continue for quite as long as last time. 

The children are all working so hard at home, thank you for keeping up with all the learning we have been setting- you're all doing a marvellous job! 

All learning will be uploaded to Seesaw daily by 9am. As per government guidelines, the work we set should take around 3-4 hours to complete. Each day we will upload: Maths, English, phonics and a foundation subject (RE, art, history, science etc.) If you are struggling to complete the work in this time, please do not stress, just try your best and contact us if we can do anything at all to help.
