At Christ the King we are proud to share and celebrate our fantastic results. In 2024 we once again achieved well above national at different stages of education, making us a successful Wirral primary school. OFSTED acknowledged our high expectations and ambitions and the hard work and success of our children. (Please see recent report.)
87% of our Y6 pupils achieved the expected standard or higher in reading, with 35% reading at a greater depth level. We were 13% above national!
82% of our pupils achieved the expected standard or higher in maths, with 35% at the greater depth level, both above national!
Our Y4 children successfully learnt their multiplication facts, with 40% achiving 100% and 85% achieving 80% or higher.
90% of our Year 1 children passed their phonics screening check, 10% above national and one of the highest scoring schools locally.
Similarly, our FS2 scores were ranked highky with 76% achieving GLD, 8% above national.
Our children are well prepared at each stage of their journey with us.
