Parish Life

Christ the King Parish

At Christ the King Catholic Primary school, we are lucky to be part of a vibrant and friendly parish in the heart of Bromborough, which is also right next door!

Fr. Louis  Maggiore and Deacon Tony Hunt came to our Parish in June 2021 and they have been actively celebrating class Masses and Sacraments with us. We are fortunate to have them supporting all our children in their faith journeys.

We liaise between home, school and parish because we are aware that the Kingdom of God is built by nurturing, helping, caring and supporting each other. The value of strong links between home, school and parish is the real evidence of Christian community and the vitality of the local Church. A number of our Year 4, 5 and 6 students are altar servers at parish and school Masses and our Mini Vinnies lead community events such as the Beetle Drive and Afternoon Tea for our parishoners. Our school choir perform for the Mondanians too. Members of the parish are warmly welcomed to join us for Masses and Special feast days.

Parish Logo Design

The Parish Council asked our school Faith Leaders to organise a competition for all children to design a logo to be used in Church. Well done to Finlay Dooris, Orlagh Patten, Grace Marriott, Joshua Hughes Ikpoh, Kieran Holmes and Jasper Crosby whose designs were given to the Council. The parishioners were extremely impressed with the quality and creative of the designs and found it really hard to choose between them. They commended all the children for their efforts. Jasper was the lucky winner and the design will shortly be able to be seen on all church publications. Well done!
