Celebrating Chinese New Year

Together with FS2 we celebrated Chinese New Year, the Year of the Rat. Over 2 weeks we have had wonderful Creative sessions, introducing our topic. We are very lucky to have a student teacher with us who has a Brother living in China at the moment, he sent us an amazing video to watch, to explain how far away from England he was. The children in our Little Acorn Family all shared different Chinese objects; some shared their experiences and knowledge of their family’s time living in China. At the end of the two weeks we joined together with FS2 to dance, sing, play instruments and share our Chinese dragon creations we had both made .We have really enjoyed our Chinese tales theme over the past two weeks
